I’m Aline, a Switzerland-based wedding photographer with a well-travelled passport and a deep love of analogue photography.
I work from the background, catching your day as it actually unfolds, so you get to be fully in it. No stiff poses, no regrets, just the truth of the day, beautifully documented.
I got into photography when I was supposed to be getting into French.
Moving to the French-speaking part of Switzerland after school, I had lots of time on my hands and my first camera, a parting gift from my family, permanently wrapped over my shoulder.
This was before social media, back when we chatted on MSN through Logitech webcams and felt very modern about it. You can probably work out my age from that.
I enjoyed snapping pictures enough to train as a photographer properly when I got back. As soon as I got my degree, my brother got married, asked me to shoot it and the rest is history, as they say. 🙂
What got me hooked on weddings’ the hustle and bustle of it. Being in the middle of the noise: the chatter, the laughing, the crying. There’s a line from a book, whose title I’ve long since forgotten, something about people making those people noises. That’s a wedding to me. And I love it.
My year is usually packed with 20 to 30 weddings, mostly in the summer months.
My camera has taken me from a registry office in Zürich to the Yosemite National Park in the US, over a wedding in Sweden, which was a particular highlight for me. I picked up a few words of Swedish and have been looking for an excuse to use them ever since.
And I still well up. Personal vows do it. So do grandparents.
What I love most are the weddings that don’t feel like playing dress-up. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime day, which you should get to feel, without thinking about the photos for a single second.

I’m happiest moving, surrounded by people I love, chasing the kind of moments you look back on and go “do you remember…?” Turns out that’s literally the whole job.
A wedding is an entire day made of those moments and I get to be the one who keeps them. Cheesy? Maybe. Exactly what I’m here for? Absolutely.
It’s why I shoot the way I do: real over perfectly curated, always from the background, never making you perform for the camera. It’s the perfect blend of everything I’m good at and everything I care about.

Just the highlights
For the couples keeping it small and to the point: a registry “I do,” maybe a glass of something after. I’ll be there for the vows, the signing, the confetti moment, and the happy blur right after. This way, the day still gets the photos it deserves, minus the all-day production.

For the main event without the early-morning-to-midnight marathon. Think ceremony, the speeches, the first tears, a few hours of the wedding do. The sweet spot if you want the day’s biggest moments covered properly, but don’t need me there for the eyeliner application at 7am.
