Whichever you pick, the idea’s the same: you get to be fully in it, present, soaking up every second, while I quietly catch the bits worth keeping. No posing your way through the whole thing, just your day as it actually happened.

Just the highlight
For the couples keeping it small and to the point: a registry “I do,” maybe a glass of something after. I’ll be there for the vows, the signing, the confetti moment, and the happy blur right after. This way, the day still gets the photos it deserves, minus the all-day production.

For the main event without the early-morning-to-midnight marathon. Think ceremony, the speeches, the first tears, a few hours of the wedding do. The sweet spot if you want the day’s biggest moments covered properly, but don’t need me there for the eyeliner application at 7am.

my analogue service
Everything’s rushed these days. Analogue photographs make us slow down, which is the whole point and beauty of it.
Instead of firing off thousands of digital frames and sorting it out later, we take our time and make every shot count. Fewer photos, but the ones we snap matter: real, warm, quietly perfect. The kind you’ll still have framed on a wall in fifty years. (I’ve got one of my grandma’s wedding on mine. That’s the feeling I’m after for yours.)
Two hundred-odd weddings in, I know exactly which moments are worth the frame. This is me at my most intentional and to be quite honest, my absolute favourite way to shoot.

Book in your date
Happy to go ahead? A 50% deposit locks in your date in my calendar and it’s officially yours.
All Set!
That’s the hard part done. Your date’s locked, it’s officially in the calendar, and you can tick “find a photographer” off the list. Now we get to the fun stuff.

Closer to the day, we nail down the timeline, must-have shots, and any little wishes you might have.

Do you travel for weddings?
Film or digital?
Both! I couldn’t imagine working without digital. I love being able to catch loads of different moments in a short space of time: my kit is quick, and I’m ready for whatever happens.
And I love slowing right down just as much, spending more time on each frame. It somehow makes every photo worth more. When there’s less of something, the few you get always mean more, don’t they? It takes me back to when film was the only option, and I’m a sucker for that bit of nostalgia.
How many photos do we get?
That depends on quite a lot of things: how many guests you have, what’s happening across the day, how long I’m with you. The important bit: there’s no set number. You get all the good stuff!
How long ‘til we get our pics?
Usually five to six weeks after the wedding. In peak season (June to September) it can take a tiny bit longer, depending on how busy things are.
Do you offer engagements or
pre-wedding shoots?
Absolutely. If you need photos before the wedding – for your invitations or your wedding website – just say. We can do something a bit out of the ordinary with these. Send me your Pinterest board! I’m up for whatever adventure you’ve got in mind, 5am starts up a mountain included. 😉
Will we meet before our big day?
We’ll definitely have at least one video call, probably a few. And if we’re near each other and the timing works, I’d love to meet properly and talk through your day and everything you’re hoping for over a coffee.
